Technology is a wonderful thing, when it works.  When it doesn't it's a nightmare.  And I'm only talking about trying to edit my web site pages, not about really important technological equipment, like life support machines.

I'm in no doubt that modern medical science and the evolution of technology has benefited mankind, particularly those of us who can afford it.  But for those of us born into a world when computers weren't around, and bus conductors existed, keeping up with it all seems to take up a lot of time.

And it causes me a lot of frustration.

I'm writing here because I don't seem to be able to access the soft ware that allows me to edit my web site.  I can't access half of the web sites I used to be able to access either and I can't update to the latest, or even just more recent versions of my internet server on my computer.  I'm told that I have to take it in for an 'update' which will get me by for a while, and slow things down, or buy a new computer.

Mine still looks new to me.

I'm not sure I want to do any of it.  Certainly not to-day.

It's nearly Easter, and the sun is shining out there and in spite of my frustration with my own 'outdated' technology, I'm getting out there, with the sun, which seems to work pretty well even though it's been around a fairly long time.
